The beginning of roads

Touemon Sano (Garden Designer)

First of all, originally human beings were small in number. They increased gradually. As it went on, it happened that they had to acquire some space to walk on. At first, the pressure by their footsteps, as they all took the same trails, determined their width in a natural way. This applies to animal trails. They all take the same paths. And it prevents grasses from growing. When it rains, it can’t be helped that water flows into them and they need to be fixed and it is done by human beings. As it repeats itself, human beings keep making changes as they want them to be. I think that roads that have been extended for the convenience of human beings.
